Radical Cheerleaders are relatively new in America. These cheerleaders often perform at demonstrations and marches to promote ideas or alternate viewpoints. What I find interesting about these groups is that they wearGordon InternationalCheerleading Uniforms that are generally in a color scheme and style that represents the group. These cheerleaders write their own chants and choreograph their performance to inspire the individuals attending events. Radical Cheerleaders started in Florida, but groups have sprung up throughout the United States. In watching one of the groups perform I saw that their cheerleading uniforms cheerleading uniforms were black with green trim, or green with black trim. Interesting to me was that they performed complex dance moves, gymnastics and jumps just like the professional groups that I had seen. This was a very talented group. I realized when I watched this group that their uniforms actually made them visible in what would otherwise have been just a bunch of people in a really big crowd. In their cheerleading uniforms cheerleading uniforms this very unique group of talented individuals was able to make a serious political statement in an entertaining way. I always was impressed by the fact that cheerleading no longer plays a supporting role in community activism, but rather has become a moving force that inspires passion in people of all ages.
